Pioneer Nevadan Dies In Mineral
"Hawthorne, December 28 - Mrs. Annie Moore, known to many as "Grandma Moore" died Wednesday at the Mineral County Hospital, where she had been a patient for the past three and one half years.
Mrs. Moore, who was in her 80's was brought here to the hospital when she suffered a fall. Since that time she has been confined to the hospital, and she became well known through her cheerful visits of other patients.
She was a pioneer Nevadan, having lived for many years on a ranch in Smokey Valley, north of Tonopah. In later year he lived in Tonopah where he made her home before being taken to the Hawthorne hospital.
She is survived by one son, Eldred Moore of Tonopah; three daughters, Mrs. Frank Lee of Reno, Mrs. Amy Bohannan of Sparks and Mrs. Florence Russell of Tonopah; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The body was taken to Tonopah for burial. Funeral services have not been announced as yet."
