Morton (C) - Joseph Dully, 82, of 607 E. Jefferson Street, died at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday in his home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Ludwig Mortuary. Rev. John Schlenker, pastor of the Glasford Baptist Church, will officiate and burial will be in Miars cemetery in Elm Grove township.
Visitation began at 2 p.m. today in the mortuary.
Mr. Dully was born in Groveland on Aug. 10, 1878, a son of Michael and Magdalena Wageman Dully. He married Mariette Gearen in Deer Creek on Aug. 22, 1901 and she died April 29, 1947.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Dully, of Morton, and Mrs. Walter (Myrtle) Birkey, of Delavan; four sons, Earl of East Peoria; J.E. Dully of Morton; Floyd of Detroit, Mich., and Ralph of Tremont; one sister, Mrs. Mary Stormer, of Mackinaw; 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
One son, six sisters and one brother preceded him in death.
Mr. Dully, a farmer and self employed teamster, had been employed at the Caterpillar Tractor Co. before retiring in 1946.
