Mrs. Ann E. (Ezekiel) Bannister, 93, of Rockland, formerly of Norwell, Somerville and Charlestown, died Friday, Oct. 1, 2010 at Radius Health Care in Quincy. A daughter of the late Peter and Anna (OFlynn) Ezekiel, she was born in Boston, August 1917. She was raised and educated in Charlestown. Mrs. Bannister enjoyed bingo, reading, crossword puzzles and knitting. Beloved wife of the late William D. Bannister; devoted mother of Karen A. Farraher of Marshfield, William P. Bannister of York ME, Thomas F. Bannister of Arlington and Dr. Brendan D. Bannister of Melrose. Beloved sister of Fred Ezekial of NH and Mary Bowen of AZ. Loving grandmother of 13 and loving great-grandmother of 13. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St, Rte 53, in HANOVER on Monday from 3-7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9 a.m. in St. Helen Church, 383 Washington St., Rte 53, in Norwell.
