Christine, wife of John Clausen, died at her home in 712 Bluff avenue, at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning from cancer of the liver. Mrs. Clausen was born in Germany, in 1858, and came to Clinton about thirty-five years ago. The deceased leaves to mourn her death her husband, one daughter, Catherine, at home, and two sisters, Mrs. L. Nissen of Clinton and Mrs. Anton Bebblestein of Davenport. Funeral services are to be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the residence in Bluff avenue. Rev. A.H. Lutz will have charge of the services. Interment will be in Springdale cemetery.
