Pauline was in my class at school. When all of us went to our Secondary schools, I never heard from her again. Years later I was up from Wales and had cause to go to the cemetary to visit some relatives. I came across a stone that made me look and think. Not that I dont think when I see a memorial stone, but in the depths of my mind,I had heard that name before in the distant past.
When I got back home I couldnt think why I had heard that name. I actually couldnt sleep thinking about 'Pauline Leach'?
The date said born 1961 and 1973 that she had died.
Then, I thought...Pauline went to my Infant and junior school. That is where I had heard her name! I thought back again.. I had not seen or heard of Pauline since I was 10 at least. I dont know what caused her death, I did see who I thought might be her mum at the grave one time, but I did not dare ask.

A massive THANK YOU to Zenmaster for sponsoring my dear school friend!.
