Funeral Rites for Mrs. A.O. Hess To Be Held Wednesday

Mrs. Jennie Hess, wife of Allen O. Hess and mother of eight living children, died at 7:45 o'clock Sunday evening, March 28, 1930 at the Hess home at 662 A Street. Death followed an illness of five months.
Jennie Klukkert Hess, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Klukkert was born in Anderson, California on June 4, 1884 and was aged 45 years, 9 months, and 19 days at the time of her passing.
On November 13, 1905 she was united in marriage with Allen O. Hess at Redding, California. Ten children were born to this union, eight surviving. Sherman Melbourn and Joseph, deceased; and Margaret, Bernice, Max T., Florence Hess, Frances Hess, Paul Hess and Eleanore Hess. Eleanore, the youngest is aged seven years.
Four brothers and one sister also survive; John Klukkert, Anderson, California; Ben Klukkert, Redding, California; Fritz Klukkert, Dehli, New York; harry Klukkert, Loyalton, California, and Lillian Klukkert of San Francisco.
Mrs. Hess was a faithful and devoted member of the Babntist church and president of the Merley Circle. Faithful in her church work, a devoted mother and good Christian, her untimely passing brings deepest grief and loss to her family and her friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the Babtist church at 1:30 with Rev C. E. ____ in Charge.
