Harriet M. Hess, KF Resident

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 am at First United Methodist Church for Harriet M. Hess, 61, who died Saturday. Graveside services will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in Ashland with Ward's Klamath Funeral Home in charge of services.
Miss Hess was born March 19, 1916, in Grangeville, Idaho, to the late Allen O. and Jennie Klukkert Hess. She spent her early life in Southern Oregon and attended schools in Ashland and graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1935. She was employed by Firemans Fund Insurance for 30 years until illness forced her retirement.
For the past three years she has lived in Klamath Falls, where we was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Klamath Falls Library Club.
Survivors include two brothers, Parker Hess, Ashland, and Max Hess, Eugene; three sisters, Fklorence Hunsaker and Frances Ledgerwood, both of Klamath Falls, and Eleanor Piche, Medford; 14 nieces and nephews, including Helen Ann Ehlers and Alice Hunsaker, both of Klamath Falls.
Pall bearers will be Fred D. Ehlers, Dr. Earl Ferguson, Bill Ganter, Dave Dyrud, Gene Favell and Dick Bumala.
