Stephen Douglas, the eight day old son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth and Margaret Petty of 315 W. Lafayette street, passed away Thursday afternoon at the Olney Sanitarium.
Besides the parents, the infant leaves a brother, Jeffry Neil Petty at home.
Also surviving are the grandparents, Mrs. Neva Whitaker of Olney, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Petty of Claremont, and a step-grandfather, William Whitaker of Olney.
Funeral services for the infant were held on Friday afternoon in the Free Methodist Church in Olney with the Rev. R.W. Green in charge. Interment was in Haven Hill, with the Summers-Wilson Funeral Home in charge.
