Mrs. Beatrice Bowmar, 43, of 2403 Michigan Rd., Lot 40, Plymouth, died Saturday, April 2, 1994 at 1:24 p.m. La Porte time at Holy Cross Parkview Hospital in Plymouth.

She was born Sept. 1, 1950 in Canoe, Kentucky to Lewis and Elizabeth (Stamper) Turner, and had lived in Plymouth for two years, moving from La Porte.

Mrs. Bowmar had been a Licensed Practical Nurse for four years at Countryside Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

On Dec. 21, 1971, in La Porte, she married Gregory A. Bowmar Sr., who survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Katherene E. Wood of Plymouth; one son, Gregory A. Jr. of La Porte, her mother of Stillwell; one sister, Emma L. Swedersky of Stillwell; two brothers, Harold Turner of Kingsbury, and her grandmother, Calla Turner of La Porte. She was preceded in death by her father and one sister.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Haverstock Funeral Home with Rev. William Woodruff officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and until the service Wednesday. Burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery.
