Frances Pfaff
SPRINGFIELD — A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, at Calvary Open Bible Church in Springfield for Frances M. Pfaff of Springfield, who died Oct. 3 of age-related causes. She was 83.
She was born March 23, 1927, in St. Paul, Minn., to Homer and Mary Holgate Carlson. She married Donald Pfaff on May 2, 1947, in St. Paul. He died Aug. 31, 2005.
She attended Macalester College in St. Paul and Lane Community College in Eugene. She was a homemaker and worked as a women's Christian counselor and Christian school aide.
Survivors include a daughter, Connie Baker of Springfield; three sons, Gregory of Eugene, Steven of Keizer and Christopher of Mesa, Ariz.; a [half-] brother, Jim Nordeen of Gillette, Wyo.; a [half-] sister, Carolyn Nordeen of Brooklyn Center, Minn; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements by Andreason's Cremation & Burial Service in Springfield. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to Youth for Christ.
