This child may be the child of Leon Fay and Elizabeth Haight. In the 1900 and 1910 census there is a Carl listed who would be the right age. They were living in Sheridan Twp., Mecosta Co., Michigan. Other children in the census were Sarah J., possible also called Jane, Benjamin, Cornelius, Asa and Carl. If this is the Carl, he would be a grandson to Asa and Jane Haight. I am not able to find a death record. On Ancestry.com I found him listed in other's trees with a death year of 1918.

Fay and Elizabeth did have a still born child that was born on the 11th of Oct. 1905, Coldwater Twp., Isabella Co. They also did have a son (my 1st cousin) that was b. 8 Sep 1895, in Sherman, Isabella Co. But he died of Pneumonia while at sea in the Navy, 17 Oct. 1918. He was buried at sea on the 18th. So I am not sure who this Carl would be. Carl Jasper Haight is the only Carl I have in my files that would be located in this area.
