CANYON LAKE, TX Aaron Pieper, 50, of Canyon Lake, TX, formerly of Tampa, FL and Springfield, IL, died at 8:44 p.m. on Monday, October 4, 2010.

He was born on July 28, 1960 in Springfield to James and Eileen Lesselyoung Pieper.

His father preceded him in death.

He is survived by his daughter, Breann K. Pieper of Tampa, FL; mother, Eileen Pieper of Springfield, IL; a sister, Gretchen (Gary) Leming of Springfield; a brother, Eric Pieper of Canyon Lake, TX; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.

Aaron was of the Catholic faith and was a former member of Blessed Sacrament Parish. He was an avid Cardinals fan and enjoyed collecting Cardinal Memorabilia. He also enjoyed drag racing, collecting Hot Wheels and spending time with his family and dogs, Flower and Thumper. He worked as a Manager and Supervisor at Gas Works in Tampa. He had previously served in the Air National Guard.

A private memorial service was held. Those wishing to leave a memorial gift in Aaron's name may direct them to the American Cancer Society .
