On Thursday afternoon, February 4th, the father of Mrs. Wm. Schwartzmueller near Kekoskee, Gottlieb Baehr, died at the advanced age of 89 years as a result of the flu after only an eight day illness. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Schwartzmueller and Mrs. Dornfeld, eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; his wife preceded him in death five years ago. The funeral takes place Monday afternoon officiated by Pastor Rehn of Theresa at the Kekoskee cemetery.
