Mary Jane was the daughter of John and Mary C. Everhart Conard.

"MRS. MARY JANE HOUSEHOLDER
Mrs. Mary Jane Householder, widow of the late Gideon Householder, died the the home of her son, A. E. Householder, at Lovettsville, Va., at nine o'clock Sunday evening, after a four week illness with the grip. She was 85 years old.
Mrs. Householder was a daughter of the late John and Mary Conard, and was born and raised in Loudoun county. She was the mother of three children, the two daughters having died in infancy. Besides her son, with whom she made her home, four grandchildren survive. She had been a faithful member of the Lovettsville M. E. church for 73 years, having joined when only 12 years of age. She always took a great interest in the work of the church, and was known throughout the community as a woman of fine Christian character.
The funeral took place Wednesday with service in the Lovettsville M. E. church at 2 o'clock p.m. Interment was made in the Union cemetery. E. S. W. Goodhart, of Lovettsville, was the funeral director."
