10 Jan 1907: Death claimed Ericus Hartman, an aged and respected resident of Swatara Township, on Wednesday, after an illness of several months. He was a victim of senile debility, having reached the ripe old age of 85 years. Mr. Hartman was a retired farmer and a wide circle of friends held him in high esteem. His wife preceded him in death some years ago and he is survived by the following children: Amos, Erwin, Samuel, John and George, all of this city; Michael, of Camden, N. J., and Miss Sarah Hartman, of Harrisburg. He was a faithful member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. [Lebanon Semi-Weekly News]
