She was born in Wood County, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Granville Archer, and had been visiting her daughter at the time of her death.
Survivors include her husband, H. M. Piggott; four daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Taylor, Sandyville, Mrs. Lena Bretz, Jr., Parkersburg, Mrs. Goldie Aaron, Texas, and Mrs. R. M. Bartlett; two brothers, Nathan Archer, Lockborn, O., and Kenard Archer, of Basil, O.; five sisters, Mrs. J. E. Ott, Mineral Wells, Mrs. J. V. Naylor, Parkersburg, Mrs. F. D. Thomas, Sandyville, Mrs. C. E. Gandee, Akron, O., Mrs. E. W. Koontz, Winchester, O., and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Lockhart Methodist church. Burial will be in the Ravenswood cemetery.
