Sarah Jones was the wife of David J Williams. These two Welsh immigrants were from the same town in Cadoxton-Juxta-Neath, Glamorgan, South Wales. Sarah Jones like her brother Edward R Jones (also buried in this cemetery) resided on the family farm called Glenn Y Bedd in Cadoxton-Juxta-Neath. After a lot of research on Sarah's children her maiden name was revealed from her daughter Eliza J Williams Carberry Simmon's funeral record in San Francisco. Sarah's known children are Catharine (1842-1868), Richard David (1844-1890), and Emily Williams (1846-1917), Anna Williams (b.1848), John David Williams (1854-1915), Eliza J Williams (1856-1919), David Williams (b.1858), Mary Ann Williams (b.1861).
