Danville, Vt Land Records Book I, Page 9 lists "Mr Abner Morrills Mark for Cattle Sheep and Swine is a Swallows tale on the End of the Left Ear and a half crop on ye Upper Side of the right Ear May ye 30th 1792 Recorded attest Joohn short Town Clerk".
