The daughter of Alexander Hamilton & Martha Jo (Smith) Armstrong of Yell Co AR, Mattie married Lemual Arnold Sledge on 21 Jan 1903 in Alderson OK, Indian Territory, the son of James William & Permila Jane (Daniels) Sledge of Pontotoc Co MS.

They had one son, James Robert Sledge. Mattie is my daughters' Gr-Grand Aunt. Death Certificate states she is buried in Highland on 10 Nov 1980.
