Bangor, Alice M. Skinner, 92, died at a Bangor health care center July 31, 1988. She was born in Portland, Feb. 7, 1896, the daughter of Myron and Edna (Brown) Skinner. She attended Portland schools and the Eastern Maine General Hospital School of Nursing. She was a practical nurse in the Dover, Guilford and Dexter areas for a great many years. She resided at 113 High St. in Dexter prior to making her home with her sister Velma, in Bangor. She was a friend of the Essex Street Baptist Church. Suvivors include three nieces, Marion Walsh of Bangor, Hilma Knowles of Corinna and Gewndolyn Gillian: Three nephews, Dean, Malcolm and Glenn Smith; several grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Velma Russell in December 1987.
