When it was time for him to go to school he came back to San Antonio but could not speak or understand English! Forcing him to repeat the first grade. But, as an adult he was able to fluently speak both English and Spanish.
He is a graduate of Robert E Lee High School in San Antonio.
He loved to dance and won a dance contest once with his cousin. He loved to fish whenever he could get a chance. And, go the coast and walk the beach with his wife and their dogs.
His son James Michael(1998) preceeded him. James's ashes were placed in Alfred's casket. (Kathryn is his mother).
He first married Donna Lewis September 14, 1989 in San Antonio. They divorced November 16, 1994. They had no children.
He married Kathryn Davis on February 26, 1995 in San Antonio; at Alamo Heights Christian Church.
