Margaret was the daughter of Henry Lewen and Tancke Sage. She was baptized at St Katherine by Tower Church. She married (1) George Lamberton on 6 January 1628/29 in St. Mary's Whitecchapel, London, England. They moved to America, where he was one of the original founders of the Colony of New Haven. He was allotted land in block 7 and owned over 266 acres. They had 7 children-Elizabeth, Hannah, Hope, Deliverance, Mercy, Desire and Obedience. Margaret married (2) Stephen Goodyear about 1647 and they had three children: Andrew, John and Esther.

Gravesite Details
Possibly buried in the center/Congregational cemetery of what is now West Haven. However, most likely she was buried in the common lands, now the New Haven Green, the only official cemetery of the New Haven Colony. info from Douglas Losty #48776790
