I used to take my grandmother to Ramona's grave to decorate on Memorial Day. After my grandmother passed, my mother & I tried to find her grave but couldn't, even though we thought we knew the vicinity of her grave. I was answering a photo request, & while walking back to the car, I walked right up to her grave. Mom & I were so glad we found it.

Ramona Locke, 14, died at her home near Piketon at 3:30 a.m. Thursday. Death ended a brief illness.
She was born in Pike County, May 17, 1935, a daughter of Virgil and Esther Hines Locke. Besides her parents, she is survived by three brothers, Virgil Locke, Jr., Ronald and Billy Locke; four sisters, Geraldine, Madalyn, Carolyn and Phyllis Locke, all at home.
She also leaves her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Locke, of Piketon Rt. 1 and her maternal grandfather, Frank Hines of Beaver.
Funeral services were held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Howe Co. Funeral Home in Piketon and rev. Don Humble officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery at Waverly.
