MRS. JOSEPH WAMPLER DIES
Aged Widow Stricken With Heart Failure at Home Near Timberville.
Mrs. Lydia Wampler, widow of Joseph Wampler, died suddenly yesterday morning at 10 o'clock at the home of her son-in-law, Frank B. Holsinger, near Timberville. Death resulted from heart failure.
Mrs. Wampler was a daughter of the late John Zigler. She was one of a family of thirteen children. Her birth date was April 26, 1831, her age, therefore being eighty-five years, eight months and five days. Mrs. Wampler had long been a member of the Church of the Brethren, and was a
woman of high Christian character. Mr. Wampler died April 9, 1890.
Surviving Mrs. Wampler are five children. Mrs. Frank B. Holsinger, of near Timberville; Mrs. Eliza Wampler, of Missouri City, Texas; John C., J. William and Samuel, all of whom live in the West. She also leave one brother, Daniel Zigler; of Timbervllle.
The funeral, party will leave the home of Mr. Holsinger at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning. Services will take place at the Linville Creek Church of the Brethren at 11 o'clock and will be conducted by Rev. J. Carson Miller. Interment will be in the Linville Creek Cemetery.
