A native of Washington County, she had live in Sullivan County practically all her life. Mrs. Chase was a member of the Fordtown Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Lewis L. Chase, Carl M. Chase, and Charlie Chase all of Kingsport; one daughter, Mrs. Lucy Slaughter of Kingsport; one brother, Hugh Cornwell of Gray Community; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hamlell-Dobson Chapel with Rev. Roland Light and Rev. Troy Jones officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park.
The body will remain at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 Friday evening.
