On April 9, 1929, she was married to James Zitek. They then moved to Blue Hill, Nebraska, to make their home. After his passing she continued to live in Blue Hill, where she was a faithful member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

When her health began to fail she went to live at the Good Samaritan Village at Hastings, Neb., and later returning to Blue Hill to the Colonial Terrace, where she passed away.
