Martin on August 22, 1912, in Parke County, Indiana. Mother of James Everett and Kenneth Russell Martin. Their divorce was final, in September 1919, just after Kenneth was born.

Mrs. Martin was born in Rockville 37 years ago and all her life has been spent in and near here. A few years ago she and her parents moved to Terre Haute from the country. For several months she was employed by the Parke County Telephone Co., as an operator. Over a year ago she secured employment at the sanatorium and remained there until illness prevented.
