Charles Henry Aguirre, 86, of Loganville, Georgia formally, of Kitty Hawk, NC,
passed away May 2, 2011 at Eastside Hospital in Snellville, GA. Mr. Aguirre was
born in Tampico, Mexico on June 14, 1924, and was the son of the late Fernando
Aguirre and Cynthia Hayman Aguirre. He was retired from the Norfolk Southern
Railroad and was an insurance broker.

Charles was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.

Charles was raised in the Methodist Orphanage in Raleigh, N.C. as was his wife,
Carolyn. They had so many wonderful memories of their days spent there, and
loved all their many brothers and sisters and spent many times reminiscing about
it. Charles was an avid genealogist, was a member of Manteo Masonic Lodge # 521
AF&AM and a Shriner. He loved people and dearly loved his nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Aguirre is survived by two daughters, Linda Marie
Toler of Lexington, NC, and Sharlene Elizabeth Dimpsey of New Bern, NC; one
granddaughter, Elizabeth Toler of Lexington, NC, one grandson, Stephen Dimpsey
of Raleigh, NC, and two great-grandsons in Lexington, NC.

Funeral services will be held at Twiford Colony Chapel, Manteo on Saturday, May
7, 2011 at 11:00 am with Rev. Tom Jennings officiating. Burial will follow in
the Elijah Baum Cemetery, Kitty Hawk, NC. The family will receive friends at the
funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
