Jerry Berosh of North Wildwood, NJ. Beloved husband of Ellen, died on October 18, 2010 after a long and courageous journey. Jerry is survived by his wife and 3 sons, John of Potomac, MD, Craig of Henderson, NV., Jerome of Collingswood, NJ and a daughter, Natalie of Collingswood, NJ, brother in law, Albert Chrisbacher and wife Joan. Jerry leaves 4 grandchildren, Chelsey of Collingswood, NJ. Madison, Jake and Avery of Potomac, MD. Jerry was raised in Clementon, NJ and graduated Overbrook High School where he was selected to the All Conference basketball team in 1958 and 1959. He graduated from Trenton State College in 1964 with a degree in Industrial Arts education. He received his Master's Degree from Glassboro State College and finished his Doctorate coursework at Temple University. He returned to his Alma Mater and taught for 33 years. While there he started the Cooperative Industrial Education (C.I.E.) program and served as President of the southern N.J. CIE association. Jerry coached basketball and soccer at Overbrook and Bishop Eustace High Schools. He served as an officer in the Lower Camden Co. Education Asso. where he instituted a faculty scholarship program for students. He also started a sick day bank for staff that was struck with catastrophic illness. Jerry was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame in 1994. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to the Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 N. 3rd St., Phila., PA 19123 or www.donarslorg. Funeral arrangements were provided by INGERSOLL and GREENWOOD OF North Wildwood N.J. A private celebration of life will be held at the Ram's Head Inn, Galloway, N.J.
