CHRISTIAN JACOBSON DECEASED
Old Resident Dies of Gangrene, Aged
Seventy-Two Years.
So. Sturgeon Bay Town. — Christian Jacobson, a resident of South Sturgeon Bay town for the past forty years, died at his home Monday at the age of 72 years, 4 months and 6 days. Deceased was born in Helgeland, Norway, on November 11, 1843, and came to America in 1859, settling on the farm in Sturgeon Bay town soon after, which has continued his home ever since. On May 18, 1881, he was married to Miss Carrie Madson in Manitowoc. His wife died in August 1907. The survivors are: Herman Jacobson of Daggett, Mich., Mrs. Chas. Anderson of Sawyer, and William Jacobson of Lake City, Iowa. The funeral was held Wednesday from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Chas. Anderson, interment being at Mt. Olive cemetery. Rev. E. T. Rogne officiated. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Jacobson of Lake City, Iowa, were in attendance at the funeral.
