Margaret E. Miller

Margaret E. Miller, 77, of 522 Atlantic Ave., died at 8 a.m. Sunday at York Hospital. She was the wife of Charles F. Miller.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Etzweiler Funeral Home, 1111 E. Market St. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Viewing will be 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Miller was born in York County, the daughter of the late Edward and Ida (Bievenour) Kleinerd.
She was a member of Paradise Lutheran Church and of the Senior Citizens group of the church, a member of the Ladies of the Moose and of Lincoln Engine Company Auxiliary.
A retired employee of Arctic Locker Systems, she and her husband assisted their son, Jay E. Miller, 2530 Audlyn Drive, in establishing Jay Supermarkets in 1965. Her Pennsylvania Dutch recipes are used in the restaurants and delicatessen of the stores. She and her husband have been present at the opening of the store's six additional supermarkets.
Mrs. Miller also is survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Larry A. McConnell.
