Married Ellis Charles Michaels on 27 Mar 1923 in
Ekalaka , Carter County, Montanta
She was a quite and gentle woman who was loved by all .
Dolly spent much of her free time traveling . She traveled to every state and to Canada and kept records of all her travel's along the way while still having time to send out postcards to everyone back home.

Dolly Pearl was adopted when she was almost 2 yrs old by

Mrs. Dolly P. Michaels, 79, Topeka, died Wednesday, Feb. 4, at her
home.
Mrs. Michaels worked in the dietary department of Topeka Veterans
Administration Hospital many years before she retired in 1973.
She was born Nov. 20, 1907, in Canistota, S.D., a daughter of Edward and
Betsy Elnora Powell Reichelt. She moved from Bevier, MO., to Topeka
in 1957.
Mrs. Michaels was a charter member of Wanamaker Baptist Church.
She was married to Ellis C. Michaels on March 27, 1923, in Ekalaka,
Mont. He died March 14, 1977. She also was preceded in death by two
children; a daughter, Mrs. Betsy Meyer, in 1978, and a son, Clarence
Michaels, in 1953.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Edna P. Williams and Mrs Lila
Smoot, both of Topeka; two sons, George Michaels, Burlingame, and Floyd
Michaels, Wellsville; a sister, Mrs. Rose Finton, Morgan Hill, Calif.; a
brother, Samuel Reichelt, Spokane, Wash.; 18 grandchildren; and 20 great
grandchildren.
Servicees will be at 2:20 p.m. Friday at Wanamaker Baptist Church, 2700
Wanamaker Road, Topeka 66614.
