Mary Landis
Widow of Geo. Landis died at Potters Mills Sunday age 75y4m8d. Born in Germany and three married #1 in Germany to Mr Vocht. They emigrated to the US 50yr ago & he died a year later in Wisconsin. They had Mrs Perry McKinney. Then she married #2 Mr. Bower & 2 children Mrs Geo Koch,Wm Bower,a son Frank dead. Then #3 husband Geo. Landis who died 5yr ago. they had 4 children: Fred of Col.,Geo. Of Chicago, Sallie & Hettie at home. Buried at Tusseyville.

MARY LANDIS - another aged mother passed away in the death of Mrs Mary Landis, of Potters Mills, on Monday morning June 26th, aged past 75 years. Mrs Landis was the mother of seven children all of whom survive her viz: Mrs Mary McKinney, Mrs Geo Kock, Hettie and Sallie at home, George of Chicago, Fred of Denver, John of near that place. Internment on Wednesday in Tusseyville cemetery, Rev Rearick officiating.
George Landis was Mary's third husband. Mary's complete name was Mary Hessel Vogt Bower Landis
