C. I. Bailey Found Dead Sat P.M.

C. I Bailey, who resides at the outskirts of Wolbach, was found dead in bed Saturday afternoon by Perl Bower. Mr. Bower had been making daily calls at the farm home since Mrs. Bailey had been taken to the Memorial Hospital at St. Paul. Death came as the result of a heart attack...

Services for Charles Irving Bailey were held December 27 at the Methodist Church in Wolbach conducted by Rev. Paul J. Johnson.

Mrs. J. C. Wilson and Mrs. Vic Grossart sang: "Abide With Me", "Beyond the Sunset" and "No Night There". Miss Kathleen Wilson was the pianist.

The pallbearers were Ed Allen, E. L. Johnson, Wm. Borre, Jacob Hansen and Perl Bower.

Obituary - Charles Irving Bailey was born September 26, 1868 to Luthera and Chancey L. Bailey at Canindagua, New York and passed away at his home December 22 in Wolbach, Nebraska.

He came to Nebraska when an infant with his parent and with the exception of a few years spent in Oklahoma and Missouri, he has spent the rest of his life farming in Nance and Greeley counties.

Irving Bailey and Minnie McDonald were married March 21, 1896 at Osceola, Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother and an adopted daughter. The survivors include his wife, four sisters, Mrs. Julia Cummings, Spokane, Washington; Mrs. Lou Foy, Mrs. Leura Arnold and Mrs. Helen Weber, all of Palmer, Nebraska; one brother, Roy of Wolbach.
