Henry Brane, 76, of Berger Ave., was pronounced dead upon arrival at City Hospital at 3 p. m. Sunday shortly after he suffered a heart attack. A retired boiler maker, he had lived in Springfield 48 years. He was born at Minford, OH, July 9, 1875, the son of Ulrich and Margaret Hickman Brame. Mr. Brane was employed at the James Leffel Co. for 31 years and the Street Products Engineering Co. for eight years. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Esther Parcels, and a step-daughter, Mrs. Lillian Presler, both of Springfield: two sisters, Mrs. Jane Miller of Jackson, OH, and Mrs. Elizabeth Smith of Minford; three brothers, William and Claude of Minford, and Hoad of Jackson; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Vale Cemetery.
