Albert was born March 25, 1916 in Neodesha, Kansas to Albert R. and Lula E. (Stoner) Kiddoo. He was reared and educated in Neodesha where he graduated from Neodesha High School in 1934. Albert married Mary F. Harvey on August 4, 1939 and they made their home in Neodesha. He served in the U. S. Army Air Corp during WWII. Following the war he worked for Standard Oil Company until his retirement in 1970.
Albert is survived by his wife, Mary of Independence, Kansas; one son Tom Kiddoo of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; two daughters, Judith Ann Wiltse of Independence, Kansas and Carol Nancy Huffman of Farmington, Arkansas; one brother, Albert Kessner Kiddoo of Neodesha, Kansas; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and one sister.
Visitation hours for Mr. Kiddoo will be Tuesday, November 5, 2002 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home.
Graveside services for Albert R. Kiddoo, Jr. will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 6, 2002 at the Neodesha City Cemetery. Pastor DeWayne Prosser of the Bible Baptist Church will officiate. Military honors will be provided by the U.S. Army Honors Unit, Fort Riley, Kansas.
The family has suggested memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders, Box 1427, Topeka, Kansas 66601. Memorials may be left with the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home.
