Alberta Tincknell, 80, of Neodesha, died Monday morning (Nov. 23, 1998) at the Beverly Health and Rehabilitation in Neodesha.
Mrs. Tincknell, the daughter of Albert R. and Lula Bell (Stoner) Kiddoo, was born August 17, 1918, in Neodesha, and was a graduate of Neodesha High School.
In 1936, Mrs. Tincknell was married to Daniel Richard May in Neodesha. He preceded his wife in death.
In 1957, Mrs. Tincknell married Ernest Tincknell in Oswego. In 1996, Mr. Tincknell preceded his wife in death.
Mrs. Tincknell worked for the Parsons Ordinance Plant, the Klock Theater, and had retired from ARCO as a keypunch operator. She was a member of the Countryside Christian Church.
Mrs. Tincknell is survived by three sons, Daniel Richard May, Jr., of Virginia Teach, Va., Ross May of Neodesha, and Timothy Tincknell, of Mission; three daughters, Diane Armstrong of Erda, Utah, Sandra Haines of Newton, Iowa, and Vicki L. Tincknell of Castle Rock, Colo.; four brothers, 18 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Tincknell was also preceded in death by a brother, Ross.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Neodesha Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
