Ruth Aldrich, 79, of Belle Plaine, died Thursday, Mar. 24, 1994 at Paradise Valley in Belle Plaine. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in the Moran (Kan.) Cemetery.

She was born Oct. 2, 1914 in Neodesha, the daughter of Carl E. and Ethel MacArthur Aldrich. She graduated from Pittsburg State Teachers College and was a retired elementary teacher. She had lived in Belle Plaine for four years after moving from Wichita. She was a member of the Methodist Church and Eastern Star.

Survivors include sister-in-law Kathryn Aldrich of Leon, niece Rhonda Aldrich of Los Angeles, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Leon. Carlson Funeral Home has the arrangements.
