Funeral services for Agnes Tyler Hood will be held Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Kramer Funeral Home with Brother Michael Boone officiating. Interment will be in Lecompte Cemetery, Lecompte, La. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2011 and from 8:30 a.m. until time of services Thursday, August 4, 2011 at John Kramer & Son.
Agnes Hood, 86, of Lecompte, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2011.
She is preceded in death by her son, Billy Hood; her parents, Tom and Susie Tyler and two brothers, Clayton Tyler and Thomas Tyler.
Ms. Hood is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Martinez of Lecompte, one brother, Raymond Tyler , LaMarge, TX; two sisters, Marie LaBorde and Faye Crooks, Lecompte, LA; one granddaughter, Renee Tapia, Enid, OK; one great grandson, Nicholas Tapia, Victorville, CA ; sister-in-law, Carolyn Young Tyler, Lecompte, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the Rapides Parish Sheriff Office, Acadian Ambulance and the Echo/Poland Volunteer Fire Department.
