DIED ON FARM WHERE SHE HAD LIVED 53 YEARS
Elizabeth Longenecker was born June 2, 1844, in Stark County, Ohio, and died Nov. 13, 1931, aged 87 years, 5 months and 11 days. She was united in marriage with Addiston B. Longenecker March 11, 1871, who preceded her in death by 15 years. They lived in Ohio several years after their marriage, coming to Michigan in 1878 and settling on the farm where she died. This was her home for 53 years. They were the parents of two children, Alva Allen, who passed away at the age of 8 years, and Anna May DeForest who passed away Nov. 21, 1923, at the are of 39 years. She is survived by a grandson, Robert DeForest, a sis ter, Mrs. Ellen Fox, residing at Coldwater, nieces, nephews and a host of friends. A private funeral was held Sunday at two o'clock at the Pardee Funeral Home, Rev. Schlueter officiating. Burial was made in the Mountain Home cemetery.
