Leon D. Barnum, 90, of Ashtabula, retired owner/operator of the former Barnum Moving and Storage in Painesville and the former Barnum's Septic Tank Cleaning Service in Perry, died Wednesday at Ashtabula County Medical Center after a brief illness.
Born July 23, 1898, in Hiram, Ohio, a son of the late Willis H. and Emma Davis Barnum, he lived in Perry before moving to Ashtabula 20 years ago.
His son, Roy; brothers, Pearl and Hugh; and sister, Lottie, are deceased.
