A memorial service is scheduled from 6:30-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Yarnaby Community Center for Frank Grider Jr., 67, who died at 3:45 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008, at his home in Tulsa.
Frank was born on Jan. 18, 1941, in Yuba to Niney and Frank Grider and worked as a mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Jesse Grider, James Grider and Earl Calvin Grider; sisters Pauline Hornsby, Odessia Mundion, Aline Grider, Lilly Faye Grider and Hazel Branch; and grandchild Corey Michael Grider.
Survivors include sons Brad Grider of Tulsa and Stan Grider of Longview, Texas; daughters Ginger Blasingame of Collinsville, Ill., and Estelle Onstott of Colbert; sisters Cathaline Hutchings of Calera, Ruby Hensley of Bennington; brother Roy (Newman) Branch of Denison, Texas; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and also loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
