Born in Reading, Pennsylvania to Harry and Alice Stiteler, Edith was one of 14 children. She resided in Pleasantville for the most part of her life, and moved to Florida in her later years.
She was employed by Woolworth's (Pleasantville) for many years from which she retired. Most people will remember Edith's passion for collecting and dressing antique dolls and making Barbie clothes for local craft shows. She also enjoyed crocheting and hosting family celebrations. Edith was an active member of Bethany Saint John's UMC in Pleasantville, where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She was a member of South Jersey Antique Toy and Doll Club.
She was predeceased by her husband James Price and daughters Edith Olsen and Mary Welch and grandchildren, Barbara Olsen, Susan Giambatista and Gary Price.
She will be sadly missed by her surviving family: son James Price; son-in-law, James Welch; brothers, Albert Stiteler and Betty, Bobby Stiteler and Jane and sisters, Betty Wold and Dot Hannum; grandchildren; Kim Deppe (Lou), Kevin Welch (Nancy), Pam Price (Tim), Jim Price, Bradley Price (Stacey) of Dorothy and Jessica Price. She was also survived by ten great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and extended family members and many friends.
Services will be at the Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield, New Jersey. Burial will be at the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey.
