WALTER W KEINBAUM

Walter W. Kienbaum, 68, of 22516 Mueller Road, Kiel, died Monday morning December 19, 1994, at St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan.

He was born August 11, 1926, in the Town of Schleswig, son of the late Frederick and Mary Kattreh Keinbaum. He attended Kiel schools. On October 31, 1958, he married Lila Jane Bartelt in Dubuque, Iowa. He was employed at Ehnert's Construction until entering the United State Army serving in Korea from 1952 – 1954. After service he was employed at Ehnert's Construction until joining Crystal Lake Crushed Stone Company, working for the company for 30 years, retiring in 1988. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War.

His wife Lila Jane preceded him in death on April 25, 1987. Survivors include seven children; Kurt (Marguerite) Myers, Chilton; Thomas (Lanette), Kiel; Timothy (Gerilyn), School Hill; Keith (Geriann) Kiel; Kathleen and fiancee Kevin, Manitowoc; Matthew, Kiel; and Mark, Manitowoc.
He is further survived by nine grandchildren and five brothers; Roland, Kiel; Arno (Marie) Kiel; Jerome (Pearl) Kiel; Willard (Isabelle) rural Kiel; and Harvey of Kiel. He was preceded in death by one great granddaughter, one daughter, Darlene and two sisters.

Funeral services were held at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, Kiel, with the Rev. Raymond C. Coombs officiating. Burial was in the Kiel Cemetery.
