Frith, husband of Mrs. Julia Frith, formerly Miss Julia Goe of Chico, was killed yesterday morning in a railroad accident 12 miles north of Roseville. Mr. Frith, employed by the Southern Pacific Company as brakeman, was killed when a switch engine and caboose collided. Two other trainmen were injured.
Mr. Frith was a veteran of the World War. Funeral services will be held at Roseville Thursday morning, after which the body will be brought to Chico. Services and interment will take place at Chico cemetery on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. Rev. Rollo C. LaPorte will officiate.
