Born Aug. 1, 1928, in Cashtown, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Clara (Scott) Bucher.
She and her husband, Floyd E. Cook, had been married for 53 years.
Mrs. Cook was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Cashtown.
She was also a member of Cashtown Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Scott R. Cook of Orrtanna; three daugthers, Betsy Kane of Cashtown, Donna M. Sanders of Orrtanna and Sherry K. Hammett of Aspers; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Donald Bucher of Fairfield and C. William Bucher of Cashtown.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Helen L. Rebert, in 1997.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Trinity United Church of Christ, Cashtown, with her pastor, the Rev. Charles E. Falk, Jr., officiating. Burial will be in Flohrs Cemetery, McKnightstown.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services Friday in the church.
