Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Edwards of Whitley have the sympathy of the entire community in the death of their child Thursday. Little Olive Pauline was born Jan. 9, 1901 and departed this life July 11, 1901, aged 6 months and 2 days. She was sick only a few days. This is the fifth child they have lost, three girls and two boys. Five children survive, a boy and four girls. The funeral and burial services were held at the Whitfield church, conducted by Eld. A. A. Harrell. The remains were laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery. Windsor Gazette – 18 Jul 1901
