2nd wife of Charles Henry Dontell, Sr.∼Minnie was born in Prussian Germany in 1872. She married Heinrich Klaschus (b.1861) and had seven children, Fred, Anna, Metha (Maida), Frank, Emil, Ella & Clara. She and her family emigrated from what was Posen Province in eastern Germany during October 1905 for the U.S. and eventually settled in the Ellicott City/Catonsville area just west of Baltimore, MD. After Heinrich's death she married Charles Henry Dontell Sr. (b.1853), an elderly widower with three children, Charles, Augusta and Minnie Elizabeth. After Henry's passing in 1943, Minnie lived in Catonsville and in fine health until Nov. 6, 1950 when she was struck and killed by a drunk driver while standing on a street corner near her home. She was 78 y.o.a..
