Ernest R. Alcorn, 84, of 20 Centerwood Drive, died yesterday at Concord Hospital.

Born in Boston, Mass., he lived many years in Boscawen before moving to Concord.

He worked as a repairman of hotel and restaurant equipment for Pete DiPirro Co., Charlestown, Mass. He was a member of White Mountains Lodge of Odd Fellows and Fidelity Rebekahs, both of Concord.

He leaves behind his wife, Frances (Knowlton)Alcorn of Concord; a son, George H. Alcorn of Dracut, Mass: four daughters, Mrs. Barbara J. Johnson of Hudson, Mrs. Edna M. Aversa of Everett, Mass., Mrs. Betty L. Nelson of Taunton, Mass., and Mrs. Phyllis L. Laughton of Merrimack: 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Services will be tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Concord.
The Rev. Thomas F. Potter Jr. pastor of Immanuel Community church will officiate.

Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Boscawen.
Calling hours are today from 7 to 9 p.m.at the funeral home.

An Odd Fellows service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. and Rebekahs service is scheduled for 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 309 Pine St., Manchester 03103. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Boscawen.

Contributions may be made in her memory to the New Hampshire Odd Fellows Home, 200 Pleasant St.
