Additional Information:
Joseph B. George (1838 in KY - 1877 in Lyon County, KY) married Amy Anne Wallace (1842 in Stewart County, TN - 1873, after the birth of the daughter Annie in 1872, in Lyon County, KY) on 30 November 1862 in Stewart County, Tennessee. They're listed in the 1870 Lyon County, Kentucky Census as living in Parkersville (Lamasco) and listed Joseph's occupation as an Engineer. In that census there's a listing for a female child, age 3, G.A. George. I speculate that she died before the children came back to Stewart County after their father's death in 1877.
After Amy's death Joseph married Emma 'Sills' Huggins (1856 in Lyon County, KY - 1911 in McCracken County, KY), daughter of Lemuel and Elizabeth 'Wallace' Sills on 17 September 1873.
